Shawn Christians New Role on Days of our Lives

Shawn Christian returns to daytime as Dr. Daniel Jonas on Days of Our Lives. Best known to soap fans as the original Mike Kasnoff on As the World Turns, Christian’s new character is the latest addition to the Salem University Hospital staff.

Soaps.com has learned that Christian has already begun work, taping scenes with Rachel Melvin (Chelsea), Peter Reckell (Bo), Kristian Alfonso (Hope) and John Aniston (Victor). With his scenes reportedly set to air in early March, it will be interesting to see what kind of effect this handsome new doctor will have on the ladies of Salem!

Aside from his new role on Days, this hard working actor has certainly kept busy over the years. He has appeared in countless primetime series including, “Beverly Hills 90210,” “Charmed,” “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” “Crossing Jordan,” “Spin City,” “Friends,” “Will and Grace,” “Las Vegas,” “Ghost Whisperer,” “Shark” and many, many more.

Shawn also has three films in post-production including “Meet Dave,” starring Eddie Murphy, “Killer Moves,” and “Small Town Saturday Night.”
