Brody Hanna Obituary, Death – Brody Allan Hanna, 29, of Nettie, WV, met an untimely demise on October 15, 2023, following a tragic motor vehicle accident. Born on September 3, 1994, in Summersville, WV, to Brett Allan Hanna and Terri Michael Skaggs McClung, Brody was a cherished husband, father, son, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. Renowned as an exceptional brother, he was characterized by his selflessness, earning love and admiration from everyone around him.

A graduate of Buffalo Gap High School in Swoope, VA, class of 2012, Brody dedicated his professional life to being a mechanic at Bailey’s Auto and served as a valuable member of the Nettie Volunteer Fire Department. His passion for family manifested in his love for gatherings, dinners, and holidays, exemplifying his role as a devoted family man.

Tragically, Brody was preceded in death by his son, Huntley Scott Hanna, and a list of beloved family members and friends, including his Papaw Robert Hanna, Great Grandfather Robert Fields, Papaw Mike Smith, Maternal Grandparents Donna & Jerry Skaggs, Aunt Ermal Burkholder, and dear friend Kenny.

Left to mourn his loss are his wife, Catie Bell, and son, Owen Scott Hanna, along with his grieving parents, father Brett Hanna and mother Terri McClung. Survived by his brother Jakob M. Hanna and wife, Autumn, and aunts and uncles Robbie Hanna, Renee and husband Pat Williams, James Skaggs and wife Selma, and Jerry Skaggs and wife Charlotte.

A public visitation is scheduled for Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 12:00-2:00pm, at the Nettie Volunteer Fire Department Bingo Hall, Nettie, WV. The funeral service will commence at 2:00pm at the Bingo Hall, offering friends and family an opportunity to come together to remember and celebrate the life of a man who touched the hearts of many with his warmth and generosity.
